Top 5 Bread Making Books

Here’s a list of my personal (i.e. not definitive, just my opinion) top 5 bread making books available at the moment. Do you have any of these books? Is there a book I’ve missed out? Let me know in the comments section below!

Fresh Bread In The Morning From Your Bread Machine - Annette Yates

1. Fresh Bread In The Morning From Your Bread Machine (Annette Yates)

Great recipes that are easy to follow. The book is laid out in a clear and understandable manner, and there are more than enough recipes to keep you going for a while. A must buy!

2. The Bread Book (Sara Lewis)

Good advice and recipes for baking bread with and without a bread maker.

3. Easy Bread Machine Bible (Anne Sheasby)

Over 100 different recipes to choose from – great for beginners as well as experienced bread-makers.

4. The Complete Bread Machine Cookbook (Sonia Allison)

About 10 years old now, but still includes some of the best bread recipes around. You may only be able to find it second hand though.

Dough by Richard Bertinet

5. Dough (Richard Bertinet)

Simple name, but will give you a great insight into dough. This is NOT a bread machine book though, so it’s only worth buying if you want to take your baking to the next level.

So what do you think? Am I right? I’d love to know what you think even if you disagree!
